India's biggest four-wheeler manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the facelift of its only sedan in C-segment, SX4 . The allegation for the launch of facelift started when the car was found doing test runs in various parts of India but still there is no official announcement from MSI till date.
This facelift version of SX4 will some-how resemble its own Chinese sibling & will only sport some physical refreshments with the same heart inside. The major identical changes includes # A bold & muscular chrome grill # new alloy wheels # refreshed head-back lamps & bumpers.
Along with Petrol & Diesel varients, this facelift also offers a CNG option plus a 4-speed automatic varient for the top end model. As per the reports, the changes are only the exterior ones, than the engine options available will be the same on-going 1.6 Ltrs. petrol mill which pumps out 102 Ps of power & 145 Nm of torque & the trusted 1.3 Ltrs. DDiS diesel motor producing 90 Ps of power & 200 Nm of torque.With no Officilal Launch details on the board, we can expect its launch in the second quarter of the 2013.
The earlier experiment of giving SX4, a diesel treatment helped MSI a lot in grasping a descent sales from the drowning ship & now expect even better results after the launch of its facelift. Pricing will remain same, so as to compete with healthy opponents like Ford Classic & Fiat Linea.

ReplyDeleteEvery car has something of its own to offer the buyer & agree that SX4 lacks that luxury but the overall package plus the Maruti promise with it makes it a good deal.
