2013 Refreshed BMW X1 @ INR 27.90 Lakhs in India !!



BMW India in presence of bollywood beauty Dia Mirza launched the 2013 refreshed version of its most successful 'X' series car, the X1. The entry level base model of this Crossover SUV costing almost INR 28 Lakhs is the cheapest BMW you can get in the country.

BMW X1 was first launched in early 2010 & very soon became the bestseller for the company. But after the arrival of strong competitors like Audi Q3 & Mercedes Benz B-Class, it witnessed an acute sales drop which just forced the German giant to launch its facelift in the country.

2013 X1 offers a total of three variants- Base, Sport-Line & X-Line, powered by a standard 2.0 Ltr. 4-cylindered Twin-Turbo Diesel motor which pushes out 184 bhp of max. power & 380 nm of max. torque mated with an improved all new 8-speed automatic transmission. This new gearbox as well as features like Start-Stop system, Brake-energy recuperation & Eco-Pro mode helps this car to achieve better fuel efficiecy than its predecessor.
