Suzuki Motors showcased the facelifted Grand Vitara in the Moscow which is somehow expected to launch in India next year. The earlier version was not much successful as it was only available with only Petrol engine option & was a bit overprised. So, now this time Maruti Suzuki India tried their level best to vanish both the drawbacks with a new diesel motor & acute price cut.
This cars offers you a total of three engine options 1.6 Ltrs, 2.4 Ltrs. Petrol motors & an all new 1.9 Ltrs. Turbo Charged DDiS Diesel unit which produces a descent 128 bhp & a claims a fuel efficiency of 15.5 Kmpl.
Upliftment of the vehicle resulted in a new Aggressive Frontal Look equipped with a bold Grill with Chrome beneath it & Angular treated Fog lamps. It also offers you an option of 16'inch & 17'inches alloys for the main tyres & a standard 16'inches spare tyres is standard with both. Talking about the interiors, much better fabric on the seats, waterfall design dash board, round A.C vents & great infotainment system as standard feature for all models besides navigation & reverse camera which is only privilidged to the top varient SZ5.
The pricing of Garnd Vitara in UK starts from INR 13.97 Lakhs which we can say is Competetive. In India it will compete with Mahindra XUV 500 & the latest player in this arena Tata Safari Storme.
