Honda Motors India beared a lot of loss due to unavailability of Diesel Varients for their Cars but now they are in a mode to Roll Back in the market with Aggressive back-2-back Announcements, Firstly Honda BRIO(Sedan) with a 3-Cylindered 1.2 or 1.3 Ltr Diesel Motor & now 2013 CIVIC Diesel.
This Generation of Honda CIVIC is powered with all new Earth Movers Series 1.6 Ltrs. i-DTEC Diesel Engine which produces a peak power of 120 Ps @ 4000 rpm & 300 Nm. of torque @ 2000 rpm with best in it's class Fuel Efficiency, more than 22 Kmpl .
It's launch is expected in mid 2013 & pricing will be around 15 Lakhs & will compete with Chevrolet CRUZE , VW JETTA & Skoda LAURA.
